Cancellations & Returns

Clear expectations—so you can plan with confidence.

Plans change. Gear needs to fit. Schedules get shuffled. This page exists to make the “what happens if…” questions easy—without the fine-print hunt.

Because we offer both training and retail, cancellations and returns can mean different things depending on what you purchased. If you’re not sure which category you fall into, reach out and we’ll point you to the right answer.

What this page covers (and what it doesn’t)

We use “cancellations” to mean changes to something you scheduled or reserved (most often training-related). We use “returns” to mean bringing back a product you purchased.

What we don’t do on this page is guess at details that depend on the specific item, course, date, or manufacturer rules. Those details can vary, and we’d rather give you the correct answer than a generic one.

If you need a definitive decision for your exact situation, contact us and include:

  • Your name
  • What you purchased (course name or product)
  • The date of purchase (and scheduled date, if applicable)
  • Your order/receipt info if you have it

When schedules change

Cancellations (training, reservations, and scheduled services)

If you need to cancel, reschedule, or transfer something on the calendar, the most helpful thing you can do is tell us as soon as you know. The closer we get to a scheduled start time, the harder it can be to fill a spot or rework logistics.

Because cancellations can involve multiple moving parts—training materials, reserved space, third-party fees, and time already committed—there isn’t a single one-size-fits-all rule we can promise here without seeing your specific booking.

Here’s what you can expect from us:

  • We’ll help you understand any deadlines that apply to your situation.
  • If a reschedule is possible, we’ll work with you to find a reasonable path forward.

If your next step is “I need to know what happens if I can’t make it,” we’re happy to answer that before you commit—just ask.

If gear isn’t right

Returns (retail purchases)

We want you to love what you buy and feel confident taking it into the water. At the same time, diving gear can come with important limitations—especially for items that are worn, sized, sealed, or regulated by manufacturer policies.

Return eligibility often depends on details like the condition of the item, whether it has been used, and whether it’s something that can be resold safely. Some products may also be governed by manufacturer return rules.

The best way to get a quick answer is to contact us with what you purchased and its current condition. If you still have your receipt or order information, include it—it speeds everything up.

Exchanges, store credit, and “what’s my best option?”

Sometimes a return isn’t the most practical solution—maybe you need a different size, a different style, or simply a better match for how you dive.

If you’re unsure what to request, tell us what you’re trying to solve (fit, comfort, compatibility, budget, upcoming trip, etc.). We’ll walk you through the options available for that specific item or purchase. Our goal is to get you to the right outcome—not to bounce you between policies.

How to request a cancellation or return

The fastest way to help you is to start with the basics and let us confirm the rest. When you contact us, please share:

  • Your name
  • A quick description of what you bought or booked
  • The date(s) involved
  • Any order/receipt details you have
  • What you’d like to do (cancel, reschedule, return, exchange)

Once we have that, we’ll reply with the next steps for your specific situation.

A quick note on fairness

We try to be fair to you and fair to our instructors, staff, and partners. That means we take each request seriously, but we also have to consider commitments that may already be in motion.

If you’re on the fence about a course date or a purchase, talk to us before you finalize it. A two-minute conversation up front can prevent a lot of frustration later.
