Confidence when it counts

Rescue Diver

The course that makes you a stronger, more aware, more capable dive buddy

“Challenging” and “Rewarding” best describes the PADI Rescue Diver course—and that’s exactly why so many divers call it the best course they’ve ever taken.

Rescue Diver builds on what you already know and expands your abilities in a way that changes how you dive. You’ll learn to prevent problems before they start, recognize issues early, and manage situations effectively if they do occur. The result is more confidence, better awareness, and a calmer, more prepared approach in the water—whether you’re diving with close friends or meeting new buddies.

The fun part (yes, really)

The fun part about this course is rising to challenges and mastering them. You’ll be asked to think, communicate, and respond—sometimes under pressure—while keeping a clear head and supporting others.

Most divers find Rescue Diver both demanding and rewarding, and at the end, say it’s the best course they’ve ever taken. If you like the idea of becoming the diver others feel good about diving with, you’re in the right place.

What you learn

Rescue Diver is about building practical skills and better judgment. We focus on recognizing problems early, preventing them whenever possible, and being ready to act when needed.

You’ll learn topics like:

  • Self rescue
  • Recognizing and managing stress in other divers

And you’ll put your learning into action so it sticks—because the goal isn’t just to “know” what to do. It’s to feel prepared to do it.

Prerequisites: what you’ll need before you start

Rescue training assumes you already have a foundation to build on, plus current first aid/CPR skills.

Before you enroll, plan to have:

  • A qualifying prior scuba certification (Rescue Diver builds on what you’ve already learned)
  • Current first aid and CPR training

Not sure whether what you have meets the prerequisite requirements—or whether your first aid/CPR is still current? Reach out and we’ll help you sort it out.

What’s included (and how our pricing works)

We keep things simple with our All-Inclusive dive training package pricing.

That pricing provides this equipment during your training at no additional cost to you! If you’re comparing training options, this is a big deal: it helps you focus on learning instead of worrying about chasing down gear piece by piece.

(If you have questions about what you should personally own versus what’s provided during training, ask us—we’re happy to talk it through.)
